Social Media Addiction and Me
The workshop will begin with an introduction to the concept of social media addiction. Participants will learn about the different types of social media addiction, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. They will also learn about the signs and symptoms of addiction, including overuse of the platforms, lack of control, and lack of motivation.
The second part of the workshop will focus on the impact of social media addiction. Participants will learn about the potential negative physical and mental effects of addiction, including insomnia, anxiety, and depression. They will learn about the potential financial problems caused by addiction, such as overspending and credit card debt.
The third part of the workshop will be dedicated to helping participants develop strategies to manage their addiction. Participants will learn how to monitor their social media use and set limits. They will learn how to identify triggers and create a plan to avoid them. They will also learn how to find alternate activities to fill the time they would normally spend on social media.
The fourth part of the workshop will focus on the importance of support. Participants will learn about the value of connecting with friends and family members to help cope with social media addiction. They will also learn about the importance of seeking professional help if needed.
The workshop will conclude with a discussion of resources available to those struggling with social media addiction. Participants will learn about support groups created by My Counsellor India, online forums, and other resources that can provide help and support.
